Who we are
This website is run by AI by AO ("we", "us", "our"). We build business automations, AI phone callers, chatbots and websites. We are the data controller for the personal data described in this policy.

What we collect
- Information you send us. When you use our contact form or email us, we receive your name, email address, company (if given), the service you're interested in and your message.
- Analytics data, only if you agree. If you accept analytics cookies, we collect information about how you use the site, such as pages viewed, buttons clicked, approximate location (country or city), device and browser type. IP addresses are anonymised.
- Technical data. Like every website, the services that deliver this site (hosting, fonts and code libraries) receive your IP address and browser details so they can send you the page.
We don't ask for and don't want sensitive personal data, so please don't include any in your message.
How we use it, and our lawful basis

We never sell your data and we don't use it for automated decisions that affect you.
Who we share it with
We only share data with trusted providers who help us run the site and our business:
- FormSubmit, which delivers contact form messages to our inbox.
- Google (Gmail), where we receive and reply to emails.
- Google Analytics, only if you accept analytics cookies.
- GitHub Pages, which hosts this website.
- Google Fonts and jsDelivr, which deliver the fonts and code libraries the site uses.
Some of these providers may process data outside the UK. Where that happens, they rely on recognised safeguards such as the UK International Data Transfer Addendum or adequacy regulations.
How long we keep it
We keep enquiry emails for up to 24 months after our last contact with you, unless you become a client. Client records are kept for as long as we work together and then for up to 6 years for legal and accounting reasons. Analytics data is kept for 14 months.
Your rights
Under UK data protection law you have the right to:
- ask for a copy of the personal data we hold about you
- ask us to correct data that's wrong or incomplete
- ask us to delete your data
- ask us to restrict or stop using your data
- ask for your data in a portable format
- withdraw your consent to analytics at any time using cookie settings
